I like it becky! It has drama like a bad dream. Its like the comic book evil villian. I think it's creative, abstract and just cool!

Nice capture Scott! Hey there is no reason a guy can not make a living taking pictures in the U.P. I live in Bay City but spend anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks up there every year.Michigans U.P. is so underrated the falls the cliffs the color. Good luck! P.S. remember postcard, wedding and graduation portraits can pay the bills and keep you out in the field.

Tough subject Richie. I have a hundred dragonfly shots myself unfortuately they are nice slides and alright wall mounts but the blow ups suck. I sense the same problem here. This to me is a decent shot on a hard subject a cold mourning a telephoto lense and extension tube are the ticket here I am told. The early mourning makes the subject more cooperative. John Shaw has some awesome dragonfly shots. This site drifts toward landscapes and art, for some nice bugs and stuff try naturephotogallery.com or fotofanatic.com P.S. from those of us who the chase prey we like the shot.

I like your work andrew, while your work seems darker then most it has a very cultured feel to it. I would say it is more art than photography but the lines are blurred between the two anyway. The image that captures the imagination and moves the mind is what any artist or photographer wants to do. Your work does both. Nice job.

Yes it is tom. Nice detail but there is something about the composition, perhaps if the road where off to one side. I like the contrast and coloring nice job really.

I like the fence it adds to the photo. It is hard in the winter to get any pop in the colors, perhaps a warming filter here would have worked. Nice shot Alex.

I agree nice color nice detail, I have never been a fan of digital but it works nicely here. I also have a mavica but have not been able to get the results I like. Of coarse I have lots of cameras that do not provide me with the results I like! LOL nice job.

Liz a like the concept but the poor lighting takes from the shot. The focus is a little soft. I think that with some light and focus and perhaps some kind of prop this could be a nice shot.
