Nice capture. Just wish her face was turned just a little more to the camera to capture the other eye. Nice focus and lighting on her. Marilyn

I can see it is not a real animal now when the image is en-larged. The 'ShADOW ' IS STILL THE SAME 'Shadow' , however.. So I like this picture as it doesn't mis-lead You at all. Michele Carlsen~

Good job, maybe consider framing the boats a bit higher, less sky more foreground. Keep up the good work.

Sue,I removed a house in the back ground and I did not use a flash. I will take the picture again and use a flash. It will bring out more detail on the statue.

Okay, Joe, you've done something to the sky and it's a bit distracting cuz it draws the eye to the line between the blue behind the statue's shoulder and unnatural white of the sky. And there is a upside down L in the middle left that draws my eye.
Also, did you use a fill flash with this? I think it might help bring a little more detail out in the textured neck and base.
Very neat statue! I can see why you choose it as a subject!

Nice painting Joe!! Re you question on http://www.usefilm.com/image/745975.html I photographed the model then "repainted" her using Corel Painter 8 to give the habd brushed oil effect then Photoshop for a bit more brush work. All digital painting. Have you seen Painter in action? It is an awesome natural media tool.
kind regards,
Keith

hey Joe what ya gonna do with that flag on your pole hey Joe we dont care n e more take your flag and stick it up your pole
listen...... take a good loooonnngg look at what Jasper did to your flag before you stand to attention again give us a break!! cos yo so called flag is the symbol of a sick country intent on world domination based on the most tenuos and fraudulet premise that was ever uttered by the lips of man ( yep no woman would have been a big enough dumb ass to be such an imperious prig) well as long as there's oil there ..also while you are at it maybe a bit of a squiz at the Keinholzs work and even a tad of James McNeil's and dare i say it Jimmy Tyrell then come back to me... chack ya n five (years) man

The painting is nice...so are we to critique on your copying skills? Hard to tell if it is the painting or just not in focus. I would like to see your actual photos with the model if you have some. Or did you paint this?? Just a little confused.

Hehehe - he looks a bit uncomfortable.
I like the picture but try to straiten it so the brick wall gets horizontal then maby you could get in the hole shoe in the picture and he would not look as he was leaning to the right.
Good title
