Hi, very good darkroom-work, congrats, like the light-situation and also the soft light in her face.
Its a wonderful and creative Hobby. I learned it in a workshop and it was funny to see the own b/w-prints

Hi Omar, I just happened to notice this image. Since I'm a b/w fan and had my own darkroom for over 7 years, let me congratulate you on exploring what is the most demanding of all photographic art forms. B/W is also (imho) the most beautiful photo art form as well. I'm not going to pick this apart since there are some fine classical elements in the image but three items stand out that hurt the strength of your composition. One: I think it hurts to have her eye looking at you while the image is taken. Two: burn in the bottom of the right corner completely, if any element does not add to the composition, then it detracts. Three: when you look at the attached image, there is an odd shape on the left hand side which I circled. I would have gone to extreme lengths to get rid of it.
In summary, rejoice, you have embarked upon a path that will change how you view imaging completely. Ansel Adams was quoted as having said something like it took him 13 years to make the very first image from what he saw in his mind to what he achieved on the print.
I typically took about 1 full week of experimenting in the darkroom with different developers, dodging, burning and selenium toning before I would be satisfied there was nothing else I could do to improve the image. Another really great printer is John Sexton. You can look him up in Google if you desire.
