I really like this photo. The balance overall is nice, but the upper right hand corner seems a little weak. A tighter crop might work?

I'd leave that post in - I think it adds to the overall feel of the shot. I was in Venice quite a few years ago and this brought back some great memories. Thanks for posting it.
