Thanks Samantha. I do live in South Africa. I have seen Lions in the wild, in game reserves, but this is the first time I have been lucky enough to have such close contact. It really was an experience.

Thanks John. This was taken at a Lion park. The cubs are in a enclosure. I was fortunate to get into the enclosre with the cubs, so I was sitting on the grass, right in front of it.

I think it is brilliant. I have seen similar shots where the foreground rocks have been painted in with torch light. I helps to bring out a bit of detail in the foreground. Worth a try.
