Deze is echt geweldig Mariek!! Wat een serene rust straalt deze foto uit! Dat de top van de boot ietwat verroest is past perfect in het plaatje.

Hi Marieke, This is what realy amatures can find in the nature, it is realy a rare moment of light and shadow, certainly it could be improved with using minimal DOF(open f-stop) to have blurry perspective in background and a bit cropping from the right side.but still very original look . bravo!

I would prefer a cropped frame like below. Since it is likely a graphical work... I think, only patterns and lines are important.
Another aspect of your photograph, in my opinion, the (dominant) colors and materials... red is the plastics, blueish gray is the metal parts. The color is the distinguishing element.
I suggest you to spend more time in this subject, it promises different but impressive shots.
(If possible) Try to change lighting to give more contrast for example.

Ik heb je ontmoet nu en je op mijn vriendenlijst gezet, een van de zovelen. Kan ik zo af en toe je foto,s ok van commentaar voorzien
Leuk jij in het zuiden ik in het Noorden, op Usefilm heb ik al veel mogen leren.
Deze Foto van een maria beeld vind ik wat de kleure aan gaat uitstekend, Het is ook nniet erg dat het gezicht in de schaduw is, Geeft iets misteries

Ha Teunis! Jep, ook hier is alles wit, althans toch boven op de heuvels. Hier in het dal wil het nogal tegenvallen. Dankje voor je reactie. Deze foto is eigenlijk iets te rood. En had aan de linkerkant wat gecropt moeten worden. Komt de volgende keer!

Geweldige sfeer Marieke! Ik vind het een super-foto
om te zien! Let op met die regenboogachtige lijnen door de foto heen, vooral in het grijze vlak vallen ze op.

Ja marieke, maakt een verschil he een beetje croppen. Nice shot! PS-tips: Ik zou eventueel de foto iets lichter maken en de kleuren iets verzadigen en een rand eromheen. cu laterz

Yup, I agree with Frank. The lightmast ruins the beauty of this shot. The tones are nice, though. Standard? Perhaps, but still not quite often seen on these pages... It's the inclusion of the tree in the foreground that makes this shot, but a closer crop could add to the appeal. Anyway, I like it...

misschien niet origineel, maar jij vond het blijkbaar mooi genoeg om er een foto van te maken. toch zeker belangrijk. anderen zien niet altijd wat jij ziet.
Misschien dat je met PS de toren recht kunt zetten en als je dan toch vezig bent de lantaarn weghalen (wel erg lastig denk ik)
