Lovely, fresh portrait, lovely girls.

Love the contrast, the original print must look great with the grain.

The light is so soft and dreamlike. Stunning portfolio John. You live in a beautiful part of the world too!

Lovely photo, timeless. Love the colours and how the sky darkens to the frame edges.

Too right Alison, the wearyness radiates from this picture, as does the indifference. The vibrant pink is also somehow shabby in this context, while the iron window grills echo a prison feeling.

Such a fresh feel to this image.

...far away? I like the various shapes within the frame, and how the curved earth and overhanging trees provide a frame.

Superb portrait, the colouring gives it a classic, timeless feel, lovely cheeky expression!

Love this image, really lends itself to black and white - gritty like life.

Strong image Alison! You've a good eye for detail. Love the title, it gives an idea of the bigger picture.

Wow, perfect use of the grad filter, and the best of velvia colours, must have been lovely to be there.

Your chosen exposure had captured the reflection perfectly, interesting shot!

Lovely portrait, you've balanced the available and flash light perfectly, with the subjects being slightly lighter that the background, bringing them out. Nice one!

Lovely contrast and dof; you've exposed really well for the cobbles.

Well done, composition, exposure, everything spot-on, you've really caught the moment. It must have been really fun to print; only suggestion would be to burn in the top left corner to contain the eye more effectively. Wish I'd taken this!

Love the contrast between the fiery flowers and the cool colours of the lake. Good use of depth-of-field.

You've captured the movement, the arch and flutter of the wings so beautifully. Shot a fraction to the left and this shot would have been 100%. The blue and white colours are classic.

Beautiful soft light, lovely girl and excellent framing. The DOF is also spot-on as her face is in focus but her hair is not, which provides a nice contrast.

Really like this, very dramatic. Not sure, but the horizon seems a touch uneven, but I'm being overly critical. Well done!

I like this, particularly the framing, you've achieved what you set out to do. The colour from the artificail lights lends to the mood.

Nice tones, and the large aperture has effectively thrown the background out of focus. Well spotted, you've really captured a special expression on the boy's face.

The graphic texture is very effective, I like the central arrangement of the flowers as well.
