Jason, wonderful, but why is the bride kissing one of the groomsmen??? ;-)

Really, the first thing I thought, even before reading your note, was how great it is despite (or maybe in spite?) of the fact that it's technically poor for what people have learned to expect in their perfect digital worlds (Oh, I *ONLY* shoot digital). But if you think about it, looking at them live at night on the street with only street lights... how sharp or "properly exposed" would it have been? It's about how people want to remember their moments, not how the moment actually occured. I mean, as far as we know they've had way too much to drink during the reception, and this is a break between stumbles. Now, I know that's not true, but it's just an example of how reflecting moments exactly how they were or putting the emphasis on photographic qualities can ruin an image.

Nicely done! Jim

The warm colours in the scene betray how cold it must have been for you guys shooting!!!
I'm just not sure about the glossy skin... I bet it was an effect you were going for, but to me it looks awkward.
Still, wonderful warm colours and great comp!

Great hair. I see that bad boy 16mm lens again. I think this is what I like about your work. Super wide. Slight distortion, but this just adds to the shot!

Nice to see you're getting work from photography. Congratulations!

Jason.

This has been in my fabourites for a while now. Just noticed your recent work which pulled me into your portfolio again. Great pieces, frese eye on the world, varied subjects. Overall a style I LIKE!

If this is a boring wedding photo then I'd certainly have you shoot my big day - your best work must be fantastic. Wild shot - great wife too!

Regards.
Matt

I think the skin tone is too much yellow, but it's a great picture! Very good work!

What a beautiful stare!! I love the high-key and contrast of the photo. That little bit of cloth on the bottom of the photo keeps drawing my eye away from her face but still a very nice photo.

Lovely expression on the model, and nice grey-scale from blackest black to whitest white. Feels a little unsharp though...

I wouldn't worry bout the overexposed sky, maybe a slightly tighter crop would have helped, but it's all in the kids expression and pose.
Great stuff
