What a great shot! Must have been early morning or late afternoon with the sun on the rock like that...great find! I love the orange/gold reflection of color in the water, fantastic!! Nicely done, and congrats on the Donor Image award!

This image is fantastic Deb!! Very moody...very dark & mysterious. I love all of the wood protruding from the water, and your rule-of-thirds is dead-on in the composition. Nice work here!

Hey Dave,
Good to see you back!! :) This is a great image...I love the rain you caught off in the distance. The sky overall is fantastic, but I especially like the rain. The front of the cabin is lit up well, and has a very rich orange "glow" to it...very much like a painting.
Nicely done!

Hey Dave,
Congrats on the Donor Image of the Day!! It's well deserved...this is beautiful. I love the contrast in colors from the sand dunes and the deep blue of the mountains in the background...plus, the bright green/yellows in the field. Those colors are one of my favorite things about CO. Wonderfully captured!

Hopefully, you're happy with your new program. :) It definately works for this shot! I really like the bordering effect...the grain is a bit much for me, but that's just a personal thing...
I also think the blue hue is cool, and again, works for this image greatly! The pinpointed color in the heart is fantastic, and really adds to the image.
Very well done...I'd love it done to my childs' portrait!

I love this...so what do you mean, "7 exposure values"? Are you sandwiching 7 seperate photos, all of the same image in a program? Or is this done in the camera itself?
Either way, it looks great! I love the glow from the inner door...looks like something is about to be revealed! :)
