Thanks! This was shot with the E-10's MCON-35 macro extension lens. I didn't do much to the original image besides tweak the levels.

I agree with Judith, the telephone line is a bit of a distraction from the very strong "V" lines in the photo. A very striking composition overall. Nice work.

You really get the feeling of dawn from this picture, as if the airport (and the world) was just waking up. Very nice B&W tones and detail, particularly in the foreground. I like the composition as well with the single human figure giving the photo a bit of context. Nice image!

Please don't comment on my images if you're going to leave completely non-descriptive one-liners. I don't care if you like the image or not. It's a waste of time.

I see what you mean about the sixties look. Good use of color! I might try to wash out some of the detail even a little bit more to go for a more iconic look.

Very nice shot. I'd like to see a large version or print... I'll bet the texture on the side of that building(?) is beautiful.

Gorgeous shot. I like how the desaturation of most of the image brings out the red of the dials. Excellent DOF as well. Thanks for sharing it!

Well, I really like both shots. But I think color is the best choice for this one. The warm tones of the light enhance the picture's texture. With BW, you would lose the warmth and the tone of the picture would change.

It's illegal to boat here. 90% of the time the river is running too quickly anyway.
With a boat or other object the shot would be too cluttered anyway. I like the lines of the shot the way they are.

Thanks for the detailed suggestions! The photograph is of an iron support bar embedded in concrete. Had I to do it again I would have made sure the edge of the bar was fully in focus.

Nicely done. I agree about the crop. It's amazing how you were able to capture enough light from the fireworks to illuminate the scene below.

It's not your eye, the photo is a green duotone, with the green extracted from the tree color. I'm sorry if this bothers you, but it was an intentional effect.

There's definitely too much white on the right side of the image. Had I been thinking, I wouldn't have shot the leaf against the sky. Some cropping might help, but it's not my strongest try.

Thanks, Mark. That's a cool perspective on the image. The barn these animals were in had really nice, limited lighting that cast long shadows on the animals. I enjoyed taking the picture and kinda wish I had more opportunity to take pictures of livestock.
