You've done a great job John. I love the clouds and the detail that you have captured.

Crystal clear and full of detail. Nicely positioned in the frame. May be time to invest in a flash for the hotshoe, cause those onboard ones can wreak havoc sometimes, (although you seem to have controlled it well here.) Beautiful model by the way :)

Ahh, the lighting is good because my partner in crime (Mr Scholes) was holding the reflector and bouncing some light in for me...I'm not sure it would have been as even without it.

The point was to have him disengage, like he didn't care that she was crawling all over him, and for her to simply focus on the camera. I still think it works. Interpretation is a wonderful thing isn't it :)

There is so much going on in this shot, from the beautiful colour to the wonderful texture in the rocks and trees..nicely done.

The city lights lend themselves well to this shot. Wonder how it looks in daylight hours?

One of my favourite sorts of portraits. You get that feeling of loneliness even though you can't see her face...well done. Lovely work :)
If you are good with layers and brushes, you can add some scratches in that way, or you can download them(presets)and add them as a layer, depending on what you prefer and the amount of time you have.

Or another idea, is shoot one with the filter and one without, and look at the differences. You can only learn when you know what is missing :) She's a very pretty girl Shaun.

And if they were tanning we would be concerned, but seeing as they were doing it for the good of a couple of photographers, we'll forgive them.

You composed it very well, and the result is great!!!

Thanks David. I have a spyder that calibrates the colours in my monitor(you'd know the ones), so when I print, I get what I have seen on the screen. Until I calibrated, the colours used to be way off, so it's a little hard to trust what I am seeing when I'm not using my own computer. Hubby's laptop seems to be doing a pretty good job though :)

Thanks Rog. I have several where she is looking at the camera, and she makes eye contact well. She did a brilliant job on the day, and I hope that we get to spend time with her again. For someone who has never been in front of the camera before, she did a superb job.
