Hi Arne. Nice to see you posting again, been busy hey?
This is cool, but the foreground distracts. Did you take any without the table?

Fantastic capture of the dew or rainfall on a spider web. I enjoy the gentle slope and backlighting vs. the normal straight on web.
This one is more relaxed, sort of like a hammock.

I suppose your lens has a macro setting or the ability to reach close to the web or it is a giant one?

Oh . . . it IS Deep Cove. I should have looked through your gallery first (though I was so taken with your last shot, that I just had to comment on it right then and there!).
Speaking of being taken with photos, I think I like this one even more. I don't know how you nailed the exposure in bright fog, but it really paid off! I really like how the water and sky blend seamlessly together. The boats seem suspended in nothingness, which is a really nice effect. Excellent shot!

Hey! This looks familiar! This wouldn't be Deep Cove, would it?
I like the spooky atmosphere of this shot, which is heightened by the grain and the contrast. I'm usually all about symmetry, but I like how this wharf is off center. I feel it gives added length to your lines and creates a bit of a skew, which again adds to the mood.
The only thing I would nit is how the top of the lamp is cropped off. It would be nice to see the whole thing instead of two broken pieces.
Nice capture!
