Nothing much to add from me. I like the framing, the strong diagonals that lead to the boat that works as an anchor for the frame. Excellent!

Why have You cropped the cat's ear and its pawn? Couldn't decide to go real close or to show it from head to toe? (No offense!)

Nice tones and highlights in the fur and excellent detail. I'd like to see some detail in the black as well (but that's me - a hardcore b&w afficiado ) ).

Yesss! Brilliant idea. Surrealistic image that tells a story. Did I mention yet that I adore Jan Saudek?

Excellent framing!

Perfect framing, congratulations. It all leads to one point at the top of the frame, and this point is placed exactly where it should be. Spot on!

I personally prefer more open shadows, but here it adds to the compactness of this block. I'd like to see this one on FB paper that's able to render detail even in this deep shadow areas. )

A tryptichon - great!

I'm trying to figure out Your composition. Wouldn't it be better to place the mechanic in the right frame so the tool would become smaller and smaller from left to right? This would match perfectly with the placement of the guy at the right edge of the frame: The tool becomes smaller, the mechanic enters the stage. (The tool leads to him.)

What do You think? ?o)

The lighting is great, the blurred hands of the guy work perfectly. Excellent work!

I'm too much a technician, I think. My first thought is 'that's a trick' - so I'm instantly distracted. The difference in grain between left and right disturbs me, too.

Maybe I'd like the left half *really big* so I can see the actors in detail?

Great mood. Strong, good composition.

I only dislike the very heavy shadow on her right side. It seems to suck her in like a black hole.

The skin tones are pretty, her white dress balances perfectly the passepartout around the image on the wall. Sizes and placing are spot on!

I like the natural way she holds her hands.

Her eyes are very dark, nearly in danger to look dull. No reflections in her eyes.

Overall contrast is rather pale. There could be some lighter highlights I think. Ever tried to simulate a colour filter when converting to b&w? ;o)

Very well seen. Unusual and catching.

I'd prefer some more cropping at the sides, especially at the left.

Very slow shutter speed for the focal length. Look slike You have some good camera holding technique. )

I can't see the center of Your photo. What's the point in this image?

No light on the faces in the front line, and the persons behind them don't give any information for the viewer.

Sorry, this doesn't work for me without further explanation...

Would have appreciated some more cropping at least (make it wider, crop the heavy black at top of frame).

Mystic!

The line between foreground and sky is very hard. The absence of any clouds adds to the bizarre appearance - truly like another planet.

I know how difficult it is to focus accurately with a canon (sold mine because of this). With my old manual focus cameras the DOF is now spot on. If you love available light, get one of those old fast primes!

Good colour rendition and atmosphere. Look slike you've fired a flash, so the background gets very dark. Try to reduce flash power even further.

Dangerous to show those bored faces - they could infect the viewers. ;o)

For me the frames tends to fall apart because there is so much empty space between the two guys. (Sorry I don't know how to do this better - concentrate on one guy perhabs?)

Very good framing, great tones, pretty sky. B&W how I like it.
There's only one dark area in the sky (upper right) that looks strange to me.
(My first bridge today, still waiting to get bored. ) )

Excellent lighting, great skin tones! I like the definition of skin and hair.
Lip gloss is perhaps a bit too visible for a child portrait - but that's individual.

Good framing. Personally, I'd prefer less sky and a bit more beach. This could add to balance the triangle between people, moon and the distant land to the right better. (Just my feeling about this.) Nice tone.
