Wonderful story. I like the simple tones and uncluttered composition. The image is very rich in texture and intent.
The element that really catches my eye is the way all the lines eminate from the right hand corner: the line beteween the cobblestones and the wall; the diagonal shadow; and the shadow of the arm and stick. And then there is the effort of this delightful lady! Very strong image. CC
