less is more but also less is nothing... but not in this case dear Jeanette... the ability to see beneath the apparent and conceive images through everyday objects amazes me contantly... i really love the inclusion of only the necessary elements... to me such "simple" pics are so difficult to compose... the point as to where minimalism starts is not always clear and when it finally becomes clear, i am still in doubt about the emotional impact of the image... but it is so nice to see a view of the world as a graphic conceptual representation that create emotions through shadow, form and texture... like this one... very well done my friend.... hugs... emy

yes, that was my thought as well... the problem is that i don?t know how to darken (or lighten) part of an image... so i decided to leave it as it is... but at least now i know how to straighten up a pic and put thin borders thank you for your time and honesty my friend... really appreciated... hugs...

oh... again an offcentered composition breaking the "normal" rules of synthesis creating a colorful natural abstract... love the half circle the branch makes against the vivid green and the random danse of flowers on it... again the use of DOF is great isolating the pink bouquet!!!! smells like Spring spirit!!!! well done Stefan... love the diversity in your work!!! emy

wonderful expression and lovely contrast for an apparently difficult shot... my only suggestion would be to crop a bit of the black in the bottom so as to make the division of black and white even more apparent... love how you positioned Yulia in between to bring the so wanted balance of light vs darkness... beautiful enigmatic work dear Jeff... kisses... emy

i don't know if this building is really ugly but it is certainly beautiful in its details... you only have to know where to look and compose appropriately showing the exact detail or pattern that makes it special... like this one... vertical lines in the background... a red diagonal strike from A... grey circles against a red half-circle... very very graphic, bold and full of shapes... needless to add that i like that little circle above the letter... A's personal crown!!!! excellent dear Jeanette... emy
