The concept of this photo is very intriguing, but I fear that the lack of focus detracts from the image, especially knowing the capabilities of the D70. I would think that the focus should be on the point where the finger and the cake meet, so as to be most effective. Keep it up!

this is a nice shot
a picture need something to attract the viwer eyes
for example on you photo if only one egg is broken it will attract the attention of the other viewer
i like the idea of the light coming from one side and also the way the eggs are orgnized.
try again with a broken egg and let me know if me people start commeting on your picture.
this is an advice from a biggner
