How did you accomplish the background colours? I like the way the mantis is looking directly out at the viewer of the picture.

Even in Sepia, it looks stunning. I like the contrast of the colours in the background, it compliments the iris so nicely! Beautiful! Christina

Great capture of the planes, and the leading lines of the exhaust. Would make a great advertizement for the snowbirds!

Thanks Armando for all your comments. I don't like that I have one branch out of focus, and I put the watermarks on only because I have the pictures on the internet. Christina

I think this one is a very unique capture, as the picture tells the story. She almost looks like a statue.

The silhoulette defines her legs well, with the backlight.

Thanks Robert for your comment. It was my last shot of the evening, perfect timing to get two trains coming towards each other, plus the reminder of the stadium lights for the Canadian superbowl.

Thanks for your comments Barbara. I have a 100mm macro, that I'm not taking off...it's funny that I have to back up on the sidelines, when the players are across the field! I love how the dust is unsettled. Christina

Stunning, the fabric matches the flower very well. It gives the fabric a 3d look to have flower stand out. I think it is good to have the purple paisley in the background to give it more depth. Christina
