this is the grave of Kevin Curleys dad- he died the day (after) his son Kevin was born. He was at the Thorold. Kevin is taking Mikes mum out for lunch next week - his mum lived til a couple of years ago - it is her aniversary.

Gabrielle,
This is a very interesting and well composed image.
The three statues all seem to be associated with each other as if they had been alive and were suddenly fixed in stone.
It may be my warped sense of humour, but I cant help but think of the three monkeys "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no Evil"....

I am not sure I agree with the B&W suggestion. I think the blues make a nice contrasting backdrop to show off the white marble. Del.

I didn't. It would be very interesting to see what people thought of as their best shots. I would wager not one of us regulars on here could pick the personal favorite of any given photographer.
And I do like this one. The King Canute stuff was just for fun.
