I have this tendency to want to 2nd guess a photograph and say, "Gee, I would like to see this over here...", etc. So, before I do that let me say I really really like this. IF I were to have had any input in this I would have hoped for the leafy cluster in the upper left to be in upper right or I would have hoped for a cloud to be in that open sky space. IR Rules!

It's really not particularly difficult:
Open your document in Photoshop, create a new layer (I create a new one for each color), select "color" from the layer type menu, reduce the opacity and then just play!

I'm jealous! Actually, my partner rodeoed for over 20 years --- he retired just before I met him. I have a picture of him riding a bull, up on my living room wall. Yours is muuuuuch better. Unfortunately it is one of only 2 pictures remaining of his entire rodeo career --- the rest were burnt in a house fire. Lethbridge's rodeo starts on the 17th. I'm there, with my camera!

Works just as it ..framed well...space is also used well...might not be the ideal time to photo but it is for the baby to play and you captured that and did it well...put it in your book.........

Margaret,
Couldn't find an email address for you so I'll post the reply here. I vaguely remember trying Kodak's Pmax Art RC paper. If I remember correctly, I decided it had too much "tooth" to the surface. I color primarily on Agfa fiber paper.
I'm always willing to show off my handcolored work and will be posting more :-)

Hi Christine...very nice shot and nicely hand colored *Smile* I was wondering if you used FB paper or Kodaks Pmax Art RC paper. Have only worked on a sample peice of the later and would like to find someone who uses it all the time to find out how they like it. Keep posting, would like to see more of your hand colored work....Maggie *smile*
