Well it seems I am disagreed with which is fine, all are just opinions here and should be taken that way. please don't take my coments harshly for I really do like your vision and the products of it. I was just trying to help with some constructive critism. How else can we grow and have our vision evolve. I have sent along a retouched version of your photo with the shadows I spoke of removed to graphicly display my point and show you I don't just talk out of my @ss. Maybe somewhere down the road it might help and if not you then maybe someone who reads this. I don't know I just know there were few people to help me when I got started and I have found it to be a personal responsibility to try and help others not have to learn everything the hard way. All I can do is do my best, like anyone. sorry for rambling on so. I guess I was just hurt by Lucia's coment without validation of her opinion. There is enough back slaping that goes on hear would it be more productive to be more honest with an intelegent flare?

Well Hugo for a hobbiest your eye & sence of composition could make professionals think twice. 23 years ago when I stared photographing it was just a hobby for me as well and now it is my main occupation. God knows you have the ability, Bravo sir!

sensitivity riding a fine line with a harder edge. The only problem I have is the longing and empathy I must live with now. Rating this shot excelent still doesn't do it justice. I praise you and your model

Nice shot and composition except that I might watch the corners a bit. A balance of light and dark and or the use of natural lines can make your work more impactive. I do like yourr eye very much though

The grain of the 400 film is a greaat choise. She has amazing eyes, but I might limit the lighting sources the 3 highlights in the eyes seems a bit much for me. They also make something called a Black silk (made for film shooting) that gives the most amazing eye lights. You can email me if you want to know more.

I'm sorry but the shoreline in the foreground is disturbing. It assaults any symmetry. You might have been better composing less symmetrically around the bridge and then it and the statue would not be as lost as they are. Sorry just one mans opinion only

If it were a shot of just nature I would have croped the grass in the foreground but since there is a building in the background I am happy you composed it so. It adds a greater planey sence to the composition which grounds the building without being distracting, very nice work

I am a bit of a harsh critic in general, having been an art director for years, but I must say I am inpressed. Yours is the first photo I have seen and rated that I could not rate any catigory less than excelent. Next time anyone talks down on the digital medium I will seend them to your page.

I liked the shot except that the fold shadows in the background are unfortunately disturbing. If the background were a true flat red surface it would siloet her in color properly and she would punch forward more due to her pail skin and your lighting.
