Whoa, a real stunner, you can really come up with some software magic, would you teach a class someday?

Whoa, dude, like quit bogarting the hallway, and whats up with like the danish flag painted on your shirt... I don't know Naomi, borderline artsy fartsy here but I like the mood, your pensive, bored look and the muted colors... reminds me why I don't go back to High School reunions.

I rarely get conflicted by photography, I either feel pretty warm or cold about it; this shot has some great elements, the detail of the butterfly wings, the vivid color of the wings and the pink "sponge" (what is that by the way?)they are sitting on, but the fronds in the background and all the variety of bright, contrasting colors make it busy and almost hard to look at for any length...maybe sensory overload is the way to describe it, but overall a intriguing photo.

Just came across this, excellent shot of Yosemite, not cliched, but nice abstract of El Capitan (i'm guessing) and no its not too dark, but dead on, but you knew that didn't you. Are you going Pro with the Blushing tomatoes shots...those are some ripe fruit, and tomatoes are bad either... im a bad, bad boy Naughty Peta.

Michele, Thanks for the "warm" comments. Hey I've been to Melbourne, interviewed there to join a company headquartered there but alas I would have stayed in Minnesota as their rep... Stayed for a few days last summer (great timing)in Daytona Beach for a "National" dance competition of my daughter's. No worries about frostbite, just little old Hurricanes now and then. MN is lovely but so is much of this great country and world... but International Dr in Orlando, thats another story... visit again.

Nice shot, however the first revision that Sandip has, I like very much, takes the background "noise" out and really makes the flowers stand out, good work.

I thought the yellow really popped against a mundune urban landscape, but all opinions welcome, but the ... "not sure quite..." comment, very British old chap... quite, quite. or should I say very English of you. :-)

Glad you are enjoying my warpped sense of humor. There aren't hundreds of stories but go to my portfolio section, click on Every Picture tells... and have 4 on Puppy #7 and the Art Shack series I think you'll enjoy (though the latter is not child story time material.) Also some other little gems in there, and even some straight narratives.

That would be a purple haze Shirley, .... probably used the dodging tool a little too liberally, but gave the common picnic table an ethereal quality I liked...the haunted picnic table now thats spooky.

Appreciate the comments, was on my bike madly fighting fading light and didn't get the photo as square as probably could have, transforming it using skew might help but probably still going to slope. Cleveland what a great name especially living in San Fran, probably somebody in Cleveland OH going by the Frisco kid. :-).
