Nice striking portraits. How did you do it? It looks like people looking through a door spy-hole.

The moment may not be intense, but the red against the complementary green certainly is!

i like this image and your idea to combine different shots in order to picture your mood of the moment... i personally would have experimented with a single frame long exposure, but this means nothing at all - everyone finds harmony elsewhere and this is great ;-)
be happy aviva!

I'm surprised this picture hasn't received any comments, I like the colors, and all those lines - I'm a sucker for lines - I think, however, that your brother is way too "down" into the frame so he's pretty much lost. I would've asked him to move back closer to the foreground - perhaps between the garage door and the glass panels and re-strike the pose.
You got an interesting portfolio here aviva

Like the tight crop and perspective. Give a very strong 'street' feel. Subversive and vulnerable. Excellent.

The impression of a movie-scene, something like a "run-away" couple now caught by somebody in their escape, the blur on the man and the scared face of the woman tell of a fast run to take again...see yoy again!

Nice sef portrait! I like the soft one. The colors are just a perfect harmony with the flower and everything. On the second one the colors really rock and I love them, but the color of the make-up-girl doesn't work with the rest IMHO. Cheers! C.

I like both for different reasons. The original allows you to focus on the waiting girl. The added draws the eye, though, to the one applying makeup.

What if the foreground is all sepia and the hall and waiting model are colored in?

Hey Avia! There are some "automated procedures" out there to achive a x-processed look (that's what I'm using to get my crazy colors). I tried them and wasn't very pleased. Then I tried my best with PS. I can get the results depending on the color combination of the subjects(s), but not very consistently. You did the right things in PS to get that result. Congrats! Carlheinz

i'm not sure what a plug in is..but i did only one adjustment compliments of ps to get the color..i love the function-Curves--- it alters tone,hue,contrast..basically everything within all the color schemes..try it out and tell me what you think!

Awesome! I'm fighting hard to get that kind of colors with PS. Did you use a PS plug in?
Good one! Cheers! Carlheinz

i totally agree with Sandy's comment although i see the reworked version is no longer available. i love this one and can't imagine how you could have reworked it into something better. i love the yellow and the mystery of your face in the window. Like Sandy, i also love the little window to the left. Well done! kat~
