Excellent idea . . . good eye. Maybe a little different angle of approach would have enhanced the abstract goal you were after. Still, a really brilliant concept . . . roundness, with sharp angles built in.

Very nice framing and toning. I really like the composition but if you're going for an "old time" or "vintage" feel which the toning seems to imply you might want to consider softening the image slightly. Your modern coated Fuji lens is far sharper than anything that would have been available to the early photographers. Though in the end that's just my preference.
