Terrific find, love how the vine sits with the curves of the wood and the large hole. Interesting desaturation and tone. I imagine this image lends itself to a lot of editing styles, this is fine.

Lovely contrast with the black and white, and great texture. I would like to see it without the colouring of the red stem of the vine. I think that detracts from it, not adds, personally.

I like the natural look (colours and sharpening).
so I can imagine to touch wood and iron and to feel their different textures. the composition is well balanced.

Terrific find, beautifully shot, just love the makeshift feel of the gate seems it's had no end of efforts to keep it functioning probably over many years. Nice natural colours, balanced saturation.

I don?t agree, Frank, it?s nice in colors.. I love the textures and details... it í almost monochromatic, why editing to B&W?
Colors are not disturbing!!!

Nice composition and excellent colors. A circular polarizer would have helped control glare. I don't know if you had one available or not though.
