mary, this image is more like a minimalist painting.

Stark & shaply. And to me so important that there is different depth of blue in the trio of square windows. I am curious about what a slight, under esposed, minimal flash exposure might have created to exact same image.

To Mary....your observations are very astute.......appreciate you comments very much........waiting for your site to be fully operational but your cover web bride shot is outrageous....please post it on this site for others to see.......glad your commenting on others pics..lots of people post here to learn and get better and its always good to be able to help........Be carefull of Vlad however he thinks everything is an egg.....my youngset son george thinks your beautiful....not George or his other brother George who mariied his sister Georgette but the other son George....Glad you like it here.......your unique vision is a welcome addition to this site......Al the owner of this site had a vision for this site to do exactly what it is doing now..........and judging but the amount of comments and posts it is working and attracting your Caliber also...the true brain behind this site is "Harley" you can find his image under Al's name...but be carefull Harley is viscous and doesn't like Gary "the silver Fox" or newly the "Ta Da Man"..

I like the clearness and focus. You mentioned being at a wedding, did you use the T-Max 3200 to take the wedding pictures as well?

very nice idea..exposed very well .....like the relationship of the squared windows with the key hole shaped door way and the building in the distance...
a tighter crop (not a lot) will reduce some of the negative space and give a bit more strength to the shapes here.....very well done....

good exposure control and good range of tones......interesting arch view Mary.....spot out the four white dots on the lower right, there a bit distracting..really nice framing and use of space.....

The image is quite small, but looks good. I love the way the shape of the tripod lines up so well with your body - gives the picture a good balance.
