Both excellant cameras im sure Jacquie, i liked with the s3 the way it read so much shadow detail and also the film effects you can dial in

Wow! This is beautiful Paul! I recently upgraded from my Fuji S7000,& had to decide between the S3Pro or the Canon 350D,the Canon won out only because i found the Fuji too heavy for me but after looking thru your pics i'm wondering whether i chose right! Happy New Year!

Nice one, Paul. But you haven't taken full advantage of the panorama upload feature. Images can be 1200 pixels wide (or high) provided they are no more than 600 pixels high (or wide as the case may be). The minimum aspect ratio is 2:1 but can go as high as you need (mine are typically 3:1). This beautiful scene can use the full 1200 pixels, no doubt about it.

Hi Paul,

Not only an impressive scenery, but also an impressive shot with a 50mm lens... Did you shoot this from the boat? I presume it's a stiched image, but shot from a moving boat?! If so, then you have some outstanding PS skills...

On the other hand, it could just be a very narrow crop; but somehow I don't buy that...

Photographically, I think the bit of boat in the lower right corner is rather distracting from the beauty of the glacier, unless my assumption it's a stitch taken from a moving boat is true. In that case, it's a perfect showcase of your skills....

Either way, a very impressive and good shot, very appealing image.

Cheers,

Hugo
