Hmmm ... must have been a magic moment walking into that fog! I like this Paul ... but I am wondering if a tighter crop might be more suitable? Maybe if it takes one close to the entrance and then entering the foggy courtyard?

What I like about this image is how the two front pillars give depth to the image. Very appealing too is the natural decay of the stone- and woodwork.

Maybe in this case it would be best to let the shadows go completely black instead of this unrevealing dark grey, thereby also retaining more detail in the sunlit tiles.

This image definitely appeals to me, I think perhaps because of all the mars in the stone and how everything but the frame is in the same color family. Normally you'd expect the door to pop out, but here it is the frame, I like that unexpected quality.
