Very carefully and effectively composed. I like the way the fur around the eye is sharp, as are the whiskers as they lead across the increasingly blurry furry(!) background.
You've almost managed to hold the detail in the bright spot around the nose. This is something I have been having great trouble with recently and an aspect I am working hard on!
Overall this is a very appealing shot - nice one.

In this case the mood would be "severe discomfort" coupled with "mild embarassment". I had to lean over the top of a fairly tricky bit of hedgerow to get this one, and was leaning in all sorts of positions to try and get the whole pylon to fit into my lens. I must have looked quite a sight when form behind be I heard a cheery "Hello" from my neighbour who'd decided to pop out for a walk at about the same time :/

I do like the use of selective colouring here & the angle of the leaf is perfect... can see why it's one of your favourites :)

Guess this is the best example of how close to the deer we got!
Loved it first time I saw it & still do now... fantastic capture & perfect DOF to bring out the best of this chap (Jake thinks you should take up a new career in animal photography... what with this one & the 'infamous' goat lol ;)
(& at least you didn't get deer snot all over your lens like some of us!!!! lol) :) xXx
