Kind of reminds me of the picture booth strips.....fun. Happy holidays.

The general concensus has been that this shot is too buisy. I'm inclined to agree And no Nikko I'm not at all offended. Infact I like the abstract quality your crop has added to this shot. I went for something similar on the inside but couldn't overcome the light issues, (too dark).

Yes this was the same location. I think of them all, this has become my favorite. You're right about the color. I shifted it to blue a little.

I did shoot some stuff inside but I didn't have my tripod with me and it was so dark I couldn't get any good handholdable shutter speeds. I even tried pushing the film a stop but the results weren't up to snuff. Too bad too. I couild have shot there all day, eyecandy galore.

Actually I did use a tripod. I 'm curious as to what specificaly you find wrong with it. Can't grow if I don't know.

Fabulous tones. Mood is exceptional; Dark without being macabre. Almost surreal. Great work.

Wonderful image. Remember, you're caught in an ageold debate. The purists say an image must stand one it's own merits. The other side says that whatever it takes to render the image into what the artists mind sees is well and good. I say the image is fantastic as presented. Whatever you did to get it this way.....more power to you. Wonderful image.

Living in Southern Maryland and working in a marina I've tried for some time to capture the very escence of the image you've presented here. Wonderful shot and aptly named.

Strong emotional appeal. Surreal but still warm, very impresive.

Love the series. I'd love to know how many total frames you shot of this subject. Looks to me as if you were definately "in the groove". Beautiful work.

Being an avid aviator I love this concept. I've done similar with drawings but never dared a photographic print. most impresive.

Love the desaturation and selective coloring. The wood and tonal fade as you follow the image down give a nice warmth. Very pleasing and easy to look at. Great shot!
