Thanks, Paul. Will you let me know if the other shot [with the rain on the window] is too dark? I don't have a way of calibrating my laptop screen and I have a feeling it's showing me things brighter than they really are..

hey Stace, your portraits are very cool, can't separate a favourite yet! I like this composition a lot, flowers tell stories, great dof control here, love contrasting blurred and sharp focus, flowers are the best things to photograph and few do it well, we have a magnificent himalayan dogwood in the garden, I'll have to find a pic of it! good work. cheers, david.
