How did you achieved that, Hakan? (If I may ask of course.) It has much of that hard contrast that wakes attention and then agaon much of the softer appearance that eases mind. The combination of the two in a monochrome makes the spectator focus on the shapes that start very strong at the top and suddenly get softer and continue to the bottom. I could imagine this one on the walls of a gallery along with a series of images about shape!

All the best,

Nick

Perfect! There is absolutely nothing that I would change here! Even the slight softness of focus on the plant matches the general soft, quite and silent atmosphere that is generated by the darker vignetting-like background with the grain. The aged looking background in B&W and fresh looking flower look like a meeting of old and new here. And some things remain in all times, like for example the intriguing simplicity of the lines of that plant.

Great, great work!

It has something evry special that combines the chaos of natural shapes and the order of a reduced color palette. The coloring gives some kind of "unhappy" look which generates a seconf impression of what's going on out there - a very different impression and I am very happy to see also images that do not steadily glorify nature.

The details and the leaves are great and together with the light/shadow play they seem even more impressive. But more than this I find the hard contrast of the naked branches of the tree against the sky to be extremely strong. Signs of life and at the same time of death.

Thanks a lot for sharing, Hakan!
