Hi Sheila, and thanks!
I have been ever so busy...between my artwork, gardening and my boys...im still photographing, but just havnt had the time to post!!
(i still have to scan my film...ugh...thats the only thing that holds me back).
I still have a ton of film that needs developed still too, so once i get THAT done...hopefully i'll be able to get my life organized enough to post something!!

Hi guys! I know, its been too long.
Im ashamed to say that i havnt been taking as many pictures this winter as i would have liked...things have been so crazy busy.
My husband finished school, started a new job, working really odd hours...and the boys have been busy busy busy! We were really tight on money towards the end of my husbands semester, so i have a fridge full of film yet to be developed-im just able to start developing it now.
Any extra time ive had ive been using to jog(big stress relief for me..lol) Im trying really hard to loose weight, who would have ever known that it could be so time consuming! I try to mix my exercise with photography, just take the camera with me.
I havnt posted very much though since im stuck in the film era, and have to scan it all. I miss it SO MUCH though, so im going to try try try to post more.
Zeke is doing better, he still has a few flare ups here and there, but not anything compared to last summer. His rash has come back a few times, but so far no joint or organ inflamation.
The doctors have cut back his medication, which is great since it made him so sick.
He has to go for regular blood tests to monitor his hemoglobin, inflamation and iron levels...hes becoming a master at it too. He doesnt even cry anymore, even when they have to really dig for a vein.(poor little guy just sits there and looks irritated) Thanks so much for keeping us in your thoughts though, i really appreciate it! Ive missed you guys!

So how has it compared so far? Im thinking, and JUST thinking...about POSSIBLY getting a digital camera this spring.(EEK!)
It would save on developing costs-especially with children, as you im sure know, when the kid have their eyes closed for half the shots you take...
My main drawback is that i dont know if it will just seem so foreign and wont shoot anything like film. Ive heard people say that you cant shoot in low light with digital, and all kinds of other scary things etc.
Im terrified i'll fork out all kinds of money, and then wont like it at all. And the whole resolution thing. What resolution is your camera? and do you even notice a difference with print quality? Sigh...so many questions!lol. Thanks though ; )

oh, i forgot to mention, another good book you may like, for encouraging creative growth in all aspects, is called 'the artists way'. One of the best things i've ever read. It too gives project ideas, and totally changes the way you view the world and art. Its a challenging course, but so rewarding.
(and not just photography based, but all forms of creativity, you just use it towards whichever part of art you like)

Ha, sure, mail me one! I'd be thrilled! Lol, i never get mail anymore, sob ; ( teehee. You send me a rock and i'll send you a maple leaf the size of a pizza, seriously. (ha, when spring comes anyway) So weird, red rocks. Like in prince edward island, the dirt is red. BRIGHT red. And the sand squeaks when you walk in it. Kinda creepy.
I think i may do that project, its just the kind of thing that i need to keep winter from being totally dull. I have cabin fever! What did you do for hosting the picture? Is this where youre hosting it? i noticed that they said that you have to find a place to host it. Just curious; )

Perfect glow surrounding the headstones, i like the heavy darkness hanging in the sky. Usually so much darkness can be cropped from an image, but in this case it really adds to the mood, and brings out the radiance of the colors.
