Great place hey? Good comp. I like this area not only because I'm Australian but because of it's variety of textures. Good work. José

I love airplanes, but this has been transformed into a true work of art. Excellent technically, but your "about" has to be one of the best I've read. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wonderfull landscape, the blue pasing over in white, it's stunning: the two mountains placed in everstreching green.
Thanks for the recent comment, I personally hate to look at that picture, I can't stand the quality but really don't know what to do about it.
Greets Tim.

The Moon

You can take the moon by the spoonful
or in capsules every two hours.
It's useful as a hypnotic and sedative
and besides it relieves
those who have had too much philosophy.
A piece of moon in your purse
works better than a rabbit's foot.
Helps you find a lover
or get rich without anyone knowing,
and it staves off doctors and clinics.
You can give it to children like candy
when they've not gone to sleep,
and a few drops of moon in the eyes of the old
helps them to die in peace.

Put a new leaf of moon
under your pillow
and you'll see what you want to.
Always carry a little bottle of air of the moon
to keep you from drowning.
Give the key to the moon
to prisoners and the disappointed.
For those who are sentenced to death
and for those who are sentenced to life
there is no better tonic than the moon
in precise and regular doses.

This is so outstanding with the deep blue colors of the sky and water!

Thanks Ian, Yes, I have 91 images on jetphotos.net,
aviation photography was the initial reason to
purchase my Sony F707 and Olympus B300 teleconverter, but as Brisbane airport
has been photographed to hell, I have been
having more fun trying my hand at landscape
photography which I find more challenging.

Cheers Ian

Nice capture of this MD-11 Ian. Do you know the avaiation websites to post to:
eg www.airliners.net
www.jetphotos.net
www.myaviation.net
Airliners is really pro level only, JP has an acceptance process but rejects far less than AP, and MA is a free for all, you post what you want.
If you don't know them I'm sure you'll enjoy them, I post to JP but that is getting very busy and as a reult rejects more than it used to.
MA is a good place to start.
Cheers, Ian

Thankyou Cesar for your nice comment, the saltwater crocodile found in northern Australia
is found in rivers and estuaries not on the beaches.

That is fantastic Michael, thanks for taking time
out to do that, I only have Elements 2, I will
try to see if I can find the color balance feature
and see if I can get anywhere near what you have
brilliantly achieved.

Thanks again for your advice.

Pretty neat - you can see how much yellow man made lights add to a photograph. I noticed the low shutter speed, which always makes ocean water fog up into a misty looking mass. Really neat.

I only think the color balance could use some work. I saved off your photo and tried to remove a lot of the yellow. Take a look.

Hi Stephen
At 62 I think I have seen less than 8-10 snakes
in the wild in my life, and except for 2 the others were
seen whilst driving in the country sunbaking on
the road, I think last year only about 15 people
were bitten with no deaths.

You have more chance getting taken by a shark of
which 2 young surfers have been taken this year-
as for crocodiles they prefer tourists the last
fatality being a German swimming at nighr in the
Northern Territory less than 10 meters of a sign
warning about crocs and several years ago an
American girl swimming in a remote area of North-West Australia from a yacht.

Cheers Ian
