Hi,
I totally adore this photo! i terms of fashion photography, it makes me want to go out and buy what she's wearing (although i'm sure i'll regret the hairy neckline jumper thing later).
I think it's a fantastic composition and really like the sparse background. the gradient provides interest as it's not a flat surface but is not busy enough to detract from the model. it makes her stand out, which is always good in commercial photography.
nice peacock feathers, she's got a great nonchalant air. Brilliant!
using a hasselblad, i assume you shot it on 16mm?

you've put this photo into the contest catagory. i think it could have also gone into the 'alone' catagory because when i see it, that is what i think of. there is a desolate quality and even though there are buildings in the background, it has a sort of post-apocalyptic wasteland feeling to it. very eerie. black and white is a good choice for this photo because colour would have made it bland.
good stuff.

I LOVE this photo!
it really shows the idea of isolation, desolation and the stuff folklore is made of.
it evokes a sense of mystery and more than meeting the eye. I particularly think this was effective with the falling off boards.
How long was the exposure for this shot?

I really like the atmosphere created by this picture. It's as though you can feel the carnivale mood of the street gathering.
nice.

Great contrast of colours with red/white chute and the gradient blue sky. I think it looks like it could have been a landing shot.
nice work.

Wow.
Where did you go to take that picture?
There's an amazingly magical, mystical quality about this photo from the clouds and all mountain peaks in the background.

Nice use of colour gradient.
Very attractive.
May seem a little top heavy with strong colours in top half of photo and the bottom with large area of (one coloured) sand.
Quite nice overall, especially the clouds peeping from the stair treads.

I think this is a great long exposure photograph. The crispness of the lander is quite remarkable considering the available lighting and the long shutter speed.
The dark, expansive sky works really well to make the subject leap off in front of you and i think it is extremely expressive but subtle.

Great ambiguity created by the golden glow of light. The patterns of light on the water has a great serpentining effect.
Great sense warmth of atmosphere and feeling of hope conjured.

I love the youthful innocence of this photo portrayed by this girl. Yet at the same time, there is the feeling of wisdom beyond her years.
Black and white creates great atmosphere and is overall very beautiful. Perhaps try to lighten that top left corner as it seems to detract a little from the overall feel of the photo.
