Hi Chris,
Requirements to achieve this wonderful color are to shoot slide film and use graduated neutral density filters. I recommend you try one of Mark Rasmussen's LightChase PHotography tours. He teachs this technique (and the trips are great fun). Do a yahoo search for his website. It is a geocities page. Or email me and I can email you the link.

very nice. looks like a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing images of Iran. With all the negativity and war going on in the mideast, one forgets that there is beauty and peace there too. I wouldn't have expected to see waterfalls in Iran. My stupid assumption is it is all desert and sand.

yes I recognized this beach. I was at Newport in May. I like the softness of the crashing waves. such a juxaposition of what the scene really like.

I like this composition. I remember driving near El Capitan and I was just so amazed at is huge presence. My jaw just dropped. That is why I like this framing you have. It reminds me how El Capitan filled my eyes.

I have a passionflower plant that I got as a gift recently. I think it is such a cool and unique bloom. I hope to try some pictures of it soon. I wish I had a real macro lens.
