this is a doubt that i have quite frequently... any way i prefer decisely the coloured version... it's more alive and funny, just like you said!

Hi Stefan,
IMHO a great idea to comine a sharp background with a shaky focus point in the foreground. the clouds are really menacing. it seems that a storm is coming in...
good work!
best wishes, Thilo

Yup - I missed his hand in the exposure and decided it was better to crop a little further in to avoid cropping at a joint.

The exuberance in the children is? exuberant! In this case not an easy choice betw, Color and b&w ? as you say, each has it?s merits. I find the choice in cropping (arm, legs), takes away from the fun ?choreography'.

B/W takes away some distractions but also takes a way a little bit of the fun.

Hi Stefan, This is one of those shots where it's hard to tell whether the little girl is having fun or not. In any case, there is definitely excitement in the image! Andre

Thanks Carlos (and no, I don't mind at all). This is the kind of thing that makes me wonder how different our monitors are and whether I really should break down and get a Spyder soon. On my monitor it is just a touch on the dark side, but the contrast you prefer is too harsh for my taste.
