Long after the seals have all been obliterated folks attend the beach and dream of prior days that are only an imagination. In this work there is a sweet naivety that beckons a fuller future

Wish it was a touch more sharp with a focus on the surfers. Otherwise, I think that this could be a good photo.

Natalie,
A couple of comments.
It seems a little dark, you might try lightening it some.
The sky seems to be a bit bright and distracts from the house, bringing the brightness of the sky down might help a little.
You might also want to consider including a bit more sky above the top of the house, It seems to me that the top of the house is a bit jammed up against the top of the frame.
Just some random thoughts.
Good Work!!
Reguards,
ray w.

I think the subject is too centered and too far away. A composition like the version below would be more appealing I think. I'm no pro either, but I've absorbed a lot of feedback at this site and I'm passing some of that along to you. A look at your portfolio reveals you're definitely on the right track!..

I really like this, it looks so cool the way he is looking back but still turned towards us! I think you should rotate it a little bit though, to right... it's quite tilting. And my personal taste is that I would crop a bit on top and right side, for a better composition. And perhaps make a b&w or sepia conversion. Lovely though... and such wonderful cat!!

Haha... this is so funny, and also so gorgeous and sweet! I love this lazy mood, so typical for cats, and how it can be felt just by looking at him how much he enjoys this nap! I love the way the paw is up! :-))

Good shot and exposure. The balance between the darks and lights is good.
It's hard to catch them in a good pose when they move around so much
