Good shot. The "about" makes the image, proving once again that a picture is not, in fact, worth a thousand words, excepting if it has a caption :-]
For the record: Not a Nirvana fan, but sorry to see a young life ended that way. Also, too bad about the house. It's unlikely that what is there now is anything like as interesting. If it's like Vancouver, they built a large pink stucco monstrosity in its place.

Wow, strong eyes and strong lips. This portrait has impact for me. You know , I don't think you need the blown out parts of her forehead. I'd be inclined to crop this a little tighter, to just above the eyes.
