Matthew,
I think that perhaps you explain too much and sell yourself short - this is a wonderful shot - I wouldn't want the lighting different - the darkness is suggestive and the light that does exist has a warm tone...
I would crop a bit more from the bottom and the right...
btw you don't have much to do, do you? North Dakota!!

I commented on this once but the system lost me - perfect DOF and light and everything else - don't listen to anyone...inlcuding my bias!!

I like this very well...the blurry DOF effect works well. I would crop from the bottom a little bit but otherwise this is just about right-on.

As a flower photo it might be a little bit to blurry and over exposed on those white things. But as an artwork it's great and very beautiful! Like a soft hole that we can be sucked in to! Interesting, and very beautiful colours!

Very nice composition with beautiful colors and good DOF, put more attention to the lighting, use natural light if possible; try also a single flower, you have a good camera! Regards Massimo

thanx stuart this isn't really a photo persay it's more of a snapshot I have to get my photos all organized to put up here... they're all on disks I need to organize a little better but yeah thanx for the comment again I just thought the expression on the cat and the expression on the guy kinda went together in a sense it could use some work I know
