I like the genuine feeling in this image of a child unhappy and bored, although I think the young lady would probably prefer to keep Anna II. They are both good and technically assured. you obviously interact well with children. i would like to thank you, Margot, for your kind comments on my photos. Best wishes. David.

Margot,
I love the subject - I took many photos of thistles this year especially this fall. I love the darkness along the left hand side of the frame and the blurriness around the focal point (is that a function of the camera and lens?). I think that these characteristics add to the worn-out brittle appearance of the thistles.
