Thank you Richard. This was mostly an exercise in editing. The original photo is from quite a distance, i decided to see if i could turn it into a portrait. All the light is rendered.
Now put some pictures up!

Thank you all for your comments. I should have explained that i started out with a snapshot photo of Shannon outdoors from quite a distance, and as a project turned it into this portrait with editing. For some reason when uploaded its a little more splotchy near the necklace for some reason. Thank you again.

Thoughts? Oh on the photo! I like the model and the background, nice exposure and color, inviting pose on the model. My one thought might be to place her in front of the partially blocked rams head, or to the left, but i think just right to block out the partial head would help.

Roger, this is certainly an interesting subject, our fascination with our gadgets, and particularly the cell phone. I have a theory that we are so caught up in the rat race which is meaningless, that we think of the cell phone as kind of a life line to our families, friends and people that matter to us.
I agree that your camera and you did a great job with this one. I like the contrast, and youve captured the involvement in their faces. Great job indeed. One possible consideration would be to crop out the extra elbow at the left.
