Thanks for your comment John, however, i much prefer the scene as shot. For one thing, i dont like chopping the sun in half. But hey, its all in the eye of the beholder, and thanks for your suggestions.

I love the effect of the low lighting on the dunes and grasses. The sun is too bright and steals attention from the rest of the really good stuff. I would and did crop for comparison. Good seeing.

Lovely, Allan! If I may suggest, a crop on the left, right to the tree, would better keep the eye in the frame. Then you could also bring out a slight bit of detail in the shadow part of the trunk. I really like the framing by the tree, the mist, the reflections, wonderful light and colours!

Thank you for your comments. Its kind of autumn/winter/spring here. This morning it was in the low 40's, tommorrow its going to be 70.
I dont really have to think about the scarf and gloves though, i always lose them.

Thanks John. It was taken about 6:30 am. I did wait you are right. When i was first there there was so much fog that i couldnt see a thing, or take a photo since it was pure white haze that just fogged up your lens.It was later when the sun began to shine through and all the mist began to move away, that i got some images such as this one. Thanks for your comments.

Alan - the foreground tree really makes this image for me. I suspect that sitting around and waiting for the magic had something to do with this image being so very nice. Well done fella.
