A fantastic image, powerful and emotive and beautifully rendered. Beautiful BW tones, and range of light, with terrific detail. I would love for the boy to be a bit further to the viewer's left, for maximum compositional balance, as he is a bit centered. But I realize that this is candid and unposed, so that's the way it is, and it works fine... Strong message here, well seen and presented... Excellent job, David.

Great DOF! I'd have to agree with Bob Tomerlin about the thumbnail. I think the two people are fine where they are because it shows the massiveness of this place. If you cloned them out, the viewer would have nothing to compare the wall to. Good job!

What a great first image to post on the site. This composition is just brilliant with the perspective of the wall trailing off into the distance. The capture of the subtle hues of the land is magnificent. And that sky! Wow, some wonderful work David. Looking forward to seeing other masterpieces from you.

A MUCH nicer picture than the thumbnail leads one to believe. Good color, good clarity (did you use hyperfocal distance for focus), and the wall is well placed in the frame. Nicely done.
