A feast of different textures, almost painterly. This LOOKS candid and spontaneous, but farther contemplation yields interesting interplays between composition, color, texture, shape-play...

i love the simplicity here, and the off-kilter box feels like a visual giggle.

Reminds me of contemporary architecture. What will happen to all our discarded media as formats change, change again, etc....?

Great to see another Fisheye-Lomographer out there snapping away!

This looks like a 60s collage/pop painting, subversive and subtle in its construction, a great flowering collection of urban structures. Bravo!

I like the gauzy Hollywood-effect of the light textures.

Yes, its basically a toy camera on the level of the old instamatic, just with a goofy lens. Part of the fun--no control. Heck, the viewfinder is hardly functional (something they fixed on the Fisheye 2 I believe).

The Lomo Fisheye 1 camera is a 35mm film camera, and it doesnt capture a full circle, so the crop happens inside the camera, and impossible to get around. If I could, I'd shoot a full round coverage, but I don't have the $800 for a good fisheye lens for my Canon Rebel. :)

Thanks for askin!
Best,
@ndrew

That is a magical hallway you have, Mister Patrick. Channels Hopper, it does. Great subdued color.

Reminds me of 30s Structuralist paintings and artwork, All lines and textures and color. Very intellectual. I love finding art everwhere, and obviously so do you...

I have a strange soft-spot for side-of-the-road Dead Furniture. It always causes me to flash back and wonder about it's history and what caused it to find it's way here. The sharp hot light here, and angle of shadow enhance this effect for me, emphasizing the rounds lines of composition and shadow.

Trust me, Luke, I'd shoot him as often as he'd allow. I'm posting some more from the first shoot, and hope to have another shoot with him soon...
