Reminds me a bit of the photos recovered from homes after Katrina--the post-shoot textures suggest extra layers of narrative, and draw me in.

Nicely direct--like the contrast of the sharpness to the slight blur of the spinnign record. Marred only slightly by the off-kilter, slight tilt perspective of the uneven horizon line at the bottom edge of the radio. Cool HiFi set!

Interesting focus choices here--to keep the sleve sharper than the face. At first glance, one thinks this is a mistake, but I suspect there's more intention than meets the eyes. Almost works...

I completely know what you were going for here, R, and you nailed it. I love how the subject is looking at us, but the shadow prevents us from seeing his eyes very well.
Expert shot--you could sell this, easily.
