I just knew the thumbnail was too good to be true! Still, you could have fooled us if you had applied some motion blur and shadow effects to the fox.

Very fine image with the tricky exposure situation very well controlled. I didn't realise there was such a fine looking building in Waterford.

Lovely atmospheric shot. The subtle colours were captured very well.

Very nice moody shot. A shutter speed of 1/1000 sec?
Surely not!

Yes, it certainly captures the essence of a certain kind of teenage holiday experience: waiting around with nothing to do but spot the talent (and eat ice cream). A pity about that white bollard on the left: I think it's too jarring and I'd have cropped it out.

Very unusual image of the Rock. I like the clear blue sky and the perspective.

Nice shot, great sky, and excellent RS/PS work. Whereabouts in the Comeraghs is this?

Fine photo. I like the 3D effect accentuated by the o/o/f background. Nice framing too.

Firstly, congrats on getting this shot selected for the Ray D'Arcy book. It thoroughly deserves inclusion. It is an outstanding photograph and it speaks volumes on several levels.

Great Autumn shot. The mushrooms (Fly Agaric?) in the foreground really make the picture, in my opinion.

Nice landscape. I've trod this path many times - the
high level horseshoe walk around Coumshingaun affords the finest mountain walking this side of County Kerry.

Thanks Shane. I never use in-camera sharpening - always unsharp mask in Photoshop. I agree that some of my stuff is oversharpened and it's something I'm trying to get right. I like bitingly sharp images though.

Interesting image to which the thumbnail doesn't do justice. A unique photograophic effect: the movement of the people in contrast to the sharpness of the
surroundings. Good work.

Fine work, Alper. The monochromatic treatment suits it very well.
