Great shot! Amazing capture of the action. And awesome close up work. Shots like these are not as easy as I used to think. I shot some baseball last spring and thought it would be easy...found out there was no way it is easy. Lot of skill needed.

Actually this isn't my new camera, but a place I was working for. I sure did love using it though. I'm hoping to get on here a lot more now, with or without it though! :0)

Thank you for the comments on this. I've only shot football a couple times and hope to be able to do some basketball soon. I really enjoy doing sports and more so I enjoy when a shot comes out. I'll try to post some more later. I had one shot which I loved, but don't have it in the computer just yet.

Thanks for the comments on the photo. It was a pretty candid shot -- shot during a parade while the float was moving by. I was happy to get it. Maybe it is not just American -- but human too. :-)
Don: Thanks for all the advice you give me on my photos. It is something I really enjoy getting and need right now -- advice instead of just criticism! :-)

A little more sharpness is needed, maybe focus on the camera or in photoshop. And I would put the composition so the flower isn't centered, for something different. Like it though! Beautiful colors.!
