The dark castle looks very depressing compared to the beautiful sky. For me, the suspension in this picture is hardly bearable and gives me a very uneasy feeling. But that's problably your intention with this shot, Christian.

Thanks again Mike. This pict stood still for a couple of month before I decided to work on it. I tried to give it an abstract and hard look, a sort of "petal metal".

You would not expect such an ugly ship contributing to a beautiful picture. But it's the contrast, that works. Maybe even better, if there would be more sky and less white ice in the foreground.

It's a beautiful scene & the water coming over the ice gives us a nice reflection when it seems there should not bve any free flowing water. Winter is a good time if you want to get away from the crowds.

I never really know what to say about a flower picture, after all most of them are beautiful & I suppose that's why we photograph them. This picture sets a mood especially with the color of the backround & the flower itself becomes more & more interesting the more I see all the lines in the bloom . Very nice close-up Mon Ami

This is awesome to me. The animal tracks give a hint as to how large the volcanoes are. [Unless those are bear tracks] Many of your photos remind me of my boyhood. This one reminds me of walking out on the river in the winter & hoping my parents didn't find out.

This is just so beautiful, the colours and tones are so soft. The little stretch of water breaking up the softer tones. The tree and its reflection make it into such a fabulous composition into my favourites

Another great red, Christian. Compared to the other one however, something is missing for my taste. It's probably the pollen tubes, which give the other picture this littel extra feeling, which makes it outstanding.
