Great shoot! I agree the bird is a little over exposed. You have not commited the same mistake. Your bird is properly exposed. I like the fact that you were able to get the shot with the fish , that's cool. In my shot, the bird has his right foot on a turtle. Not too long after the shoot, the bird slipped off the turtle, and after regaining composure, it seemed as if to be looking around to see if anyone saw him.
Thanks for the comment

This is probably one of my favorite photos on this site. I would not call this photo simple at all. I would call it clever. I'm still trying to imagine how you did this photo. Great shot!!
P.S. Thanks for your comment on the cardinal picture. I agree.

I agree, great shot. The bird's eye is in focus, great job. The high ISO rating gives the picture a grainy look.

The bird is beautiful. I would suggest shooting from the position in which the bird is in front of you and the sun behind you. This would reduce shadows and allow one to capture more color. I know myself that sometimes this is not possible and it is better to get a not so optimal shot than not to get one at all. Great picture.

The comp is great, as well as the color, beautiful. However, the eye is a little soft.
