Yes Gayle, this is called moonflower ( as are several others), or Calonyction or Ipomea Alba and grows on a vine, so when I walk out of the house, it is staring me right in the face, my favorite and the blue is just for you! Actually the blue hue is from the deep shade between two buildings and this reminds me of a young dancer, flowing across a stage, thus the "Gams"

Maria, this is a timeless pose, reminiscent of the Roman sculptures I think! Very nice lighting and composition, your friend Raquel, should be proud to have a friend like you! Thanks for your recent comment on "Genie", Cary

Hi Jim, this truned out really nice, I like that look, funny you should say that about the Elvis look! It really does look good in a black frame and, I have matted some in black velvet as well, really looks great. Thanks for your recent comment on "Genius", by the way, the guy in the mirror is my framer and printer too! Keep on shooting, Cary

Hi Gayle, I thought that was the arrangement, but I get confused easily! My favorite flower? All ove them! Well, the morning glory has provided me with much visual pleasure, the Moon flower is probably up there because of it's dainty posture and soft fragrance, the Gardenia definitely is the all time scent leader. I have been trying to get more tropicals to grow herre in the midwest, will need to move further south soon, but the wind probably won't let anything grow for too long there. Any suggestions?

Thanks gayle, had a struggle with this one and wasn't really satisfied with it, but there it is anyway. Forget me not or blue rose, wow, that's a tall order. Most of my blues are dying off now, but maybe I have something in my stack of discs. I'll come up with something when you least expect it! Cary

beautiful shot Gayle, the colors are awesome. I think there is no problem the way you shot it, the water line acually seems to go in the other direction, so they offset eachother providing balance, real good. Hey Gayle, check out my pics, I made one for you since we were bantering back and forth! Cary

An interesting lighting setup aaron, cna't figure just what I feel about it, but there is good detail in the shadows and I think appropriate to express a wildness in a beautiful creature, nice work and imagination, CAry
